Please complete this online form to reserve a township owned recreational facility for your team or organizations use. Please provide 2 - 4 weeks for your request to be processed. Also, please provide a Certificate of Insurance naming Shamong Township as additional insured and providing a minimum of $1 million coverage of both General Liability and Personal Injury.
The following rules apply regarding field use permits:
1. Shamong Township Teams where at least 51% of the team roster are Shamong Township Residents - no charge.
2. Shamong Township headquartered teams where 50% or less of the team roster are Shamong Township residents, $50.00 per season permit fee plus $10 per hour (3 hr. minimum).
3. Teams headquartered in other townships, $50 per season permit fee plus $20 per hour (3 hour minimum) per event (practice, games, etc.).
These fees must be submitted before the permit will be approved. Only the Shamong Township Committee has the right to waive these fees. In order to qualify for category 1 or 2, the team must submit a full roster with players' names, addresses and phone numbers.
Payment of all fees must be received no less than seven days before the first scheduled date.
The Shamong Township Recreational Advisory Committee can cancel any permit with no less than five days notice.
Groups and individuals from outside Shamong Township may only reserve fields on a daily basis and only within two weeks of the reserved date.
There are no fee refunds for any reason other than fields being unavailable due to construction or township maintenance.
